Dr. Lanie Yacovone DVM, PhD was raised in south Florida, and received both her bachelor's degree in Microbiology and her DVM from the University of Florida. She received her PhD in Biochemistry at Wake Forest University in North Carolina. In her spare time, she is a mom to a cat as well as a small human, and does relief work at local veterinary emergency hospitals.
